Love God (part 2) Pages flapping in the master's garden Last disciples left the morning train Semi-Jinn still hoping for a pardon From the master, sitting silent before the rain All the promises muttered All the governments guttered All kidding aside, it's never enough just to have tried Love God, I did all your man demanded Love God, I did all your man demanded Love God, I did all your man demanded

I Fell 06:03
I Fell The stars she'd saved for seven years to buy a ticket out were glued to my face for silver tears. She kissed me on the mouth, and I fell. I fell back into the snow. I fell I fell so slowly that time didn't know. Drown me in crimson Drown me in gold Call my crazy body back in from the cold Walk my spine with gilded fingers until you reach the crown Tuck me in the folds of the gleaming curtains that make up your wedding gown When the day burned down to pilot light, I turned around to face the projector. Saw a little glass square, some cigar smoke in there, but no one I could call my protector. And I fell I fell I fell back in the snow Drown me in crimson Drown me in gold Call my crazy body back in from the cold Walk my spine with gilded fingers until you reach the crown Tuck me in the folds of the gleaming curtains that make up your wedding gown

Love God (part 1) Believe all you want— We are out of here, we are gone At 18 you should not be afraid to love at 21 you should not be for sale (yet) at 25 there should be more than 3 choices; the streets, the shelter, or jail Believe Leave Let us in Love God I did all that your man demanded I did all that your man demanded I did all that your man demanded There are many places with nothing to offer, but here— it's kept so neatly stacked (Let us in) And there are many of us willing to suffer for those who think it's all an act I can't cast a shadow anymore, Love God— where is your light? Love God, it never reaches me anymore Love God Leave all you want We are out of here Believe all you want— We are out of here, we are gone Towers, open fire!

about

This is my fourth solo release, and it includes songs and instrumental music that I have been working on for many, many years— alongside music that was improvised and recorded very recently.
The title reflects my growing awareness of how limited our senses are, and of how little we actually get to see, hear, taste, smell, feel, and experience of what is all around us at any given time.

My deepest gratitude to all my friends and family who participated in making this music, and my greatest thanks to the one most high.
